Manufacturing Test Engineer

SUMMARY
Performs varied and complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under general supervision, designs and develops test procedures and assists in the evaluation of the test equipment required to perform quality checks.
• Prepares recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial fixtures. Upon recommendation(s) approval, is responsible for providing the necessary equipment and written procedures required and test fixtures to meet project objectives.
• Provides training in new procedures to production testing staff.
• This is the senior level position with minimal management requirements.
• Responsible for participating in the quality management system initiatives and adhering to all requirements.
• Responsible for performing other related tasks deemed necessary by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a college degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
